Over the calf length is good. Compression is noted but comfortable - in the right place. Wearing this summer in boots - they are not hot and sweaty. Have not had them long enough to speak to the durability, but if they are anything like my other Carhartt purchases. I am not worried. I will be buying more.

Very soft and top of the line compression sock. I have come to prefer these over the normal cotton everyday socks. In fact, I won't go back to my old cotton socks ever again.
