So far they are very comfortable and seem to be made well. Time and many many cords of wood will determine if they pass the true test.

Lousy gloves.

Poor quality. Working on a portion of my barb wire fence where a fallen tree took out all 5 strands. Temperature war 95 to 98 with high humidity In the woods in a slew and obviously I had a tremendous amount of sweat wetting the glove. The gloves turned completely slimy and after two days the left hand Index finger tip tore out and a hole appeared in the thumb of the same glove. The work was just 5 repair splices requiring a lot of wire twisting. I managed to finish the work and moved to the next repair. That was a lousy pair of gloves. I bought another pair and immediately noticed the little finger on the left glove was twisted and made the first joint of that finger sore. Again they turned to jelly when they got wet from sweat and were hard to keep on to work. They were a size large and tight to get on when dry which is necessary. When they get wet they are useless. You can’t get a grip on the work and they snag barbs way more. I wont buy these again. They were bought at the local TSC . I am going to find a glove that is cut and puncture resistant and drains water out not absorbs it. Slippery gloves don’t make the hard work easy and make twisting wire much harder than it already is. Poor poor poor!

Great weeding gloves!

These are great for weeding. We get crabgrass really bad in Oregon and most gloves you buy from the store don’t protect you from their thistles. These gloves do however making weeding a much more pleasant experience than before.

The gloves fit perfectly and are very comfortable. They also do a great job of protecting my hands from wire fencing and blackberry thorns.

I am writing a followup review of my previous one 3 years ago. Carhartt gave me a new set of gloves to replace the ones that fell apart. They are much better quality and are still holding strong. I would buy these gloves again. Great customer service. I own lots of Carhartt products and am extremely satisfied with their gear.!

Worst gloves ever

Less then 3 days of use and a large hole formed in the index finger. For the price and the brand they should hold up better. My 3.99 replacement gloves have lasted longer and still going. I highly recommend finding a different pair or even brand of gloves
