These gloves are constructed from a very thin material. The finger-tip cover (mitten) is held open by small magnets.
If you are looking for an inexpensive pair of gloves to simply keep your hands worm during minimal work activity outdoors, these may be acceptable. However, if you are a trade person and plan to work with your hands in a cold environment I would suggest you look for a better pair.
