Carhartt A113 - Extremes Arctic Hood - Quilt Lined

I just commented on the coverall portion of this purchase, so the following statement also applies to this accessory. If you are looking for a product that will keep you dry and warm and that is very comfortable then this is the product for you. In 19 degree weather with some heavy exertion, I was actually breaking a little bit of sweat in these things. Outstanding. Highly Recommended. And it does what it says "If you want to hit weather in the mouth" then this product is for you.

We could not believe how warm this hood is. There is not wind that goes through it or the coveralls. Very good quality and price.

This is a nice hood made with typical Carhartt durability in mind. It is of ample size to keep the elements off your head, neck and face unless you are looking directly into the wind, then of course your face will feel the brunt of the cold unless otherwise protected. If it has a negative, it would be that due to the nature of the build (size and ruggedness), when you turn your head to see behind you the hood resists and prefers to remain facing forward and you are looking partially into the hood.

A must have to go with the Arctic extreme wear.Very comfortable,warm.The velcro snap on the front protects from the wind.I love it

This hood was apparently designed by people who do NOT wear hoods in bad weather. The shallow cut leaves the entire forward half of the head exposed. A good hood should function as a cave for the head to retreat into out of the rain, wind and snow, and should be full cut and adjustable. This hood is not.

This is the best hood I've ever had. It keeps me warm on single digit days even with a strong windchill. The hook & look closure are very easy to open or close with gloves on. Thank you carhartt for an awesome product.
