It’s not as stiff as my old firm duck chore coat was. But it’s still a nice quality lightweight jacket. I actually like that it is not as stiff as my old coat. It’s still thick and well made. Sizing is just like every other regular Carhartt coat I have owned. Loose enough to fit my old thermal lined heavyweight hooded zip up sweatshirt under it no problem.
