I bought the jacket for work thinking that the factory second would have some noticeable flaws. I got the jacket and I can not see any flaws. In the future I think I will always buy the factory seconds and save myself $30. All sizes are not always available, but in my case Dungarees had exactly what I wanted.

Fantastic jacket. Sleeves right on the cusp of being too short but are not. I am 173cm and 69 kg with broadish shoulders. Fit (small) is bang on. Have a detroit too (1038) in the same size and sleeves are a tiny bit long for comparison. This is after jackets have been washed at 20 degrees C and tumble dried on medium heat until damp then hung to dry the rest.Colour is amazing. Love carhartt because the less you baby it the better the jackets get. The only flaw i could find with this factory second was the front label on the pocket was not perfectly square and is at a slight angle...doesnt bother me in the slightest.

I originally ordered an XL but the loose fit was big. Exchanged for a L and all good. Thanks. Always get “seconds” as the quality is just a a good. And it is cheaper!
