I am outdoors a good portion of every day in the Northeast. This jacket takes whatever it throws at you, wind, light rain, snow. It's not for midwinter but its great for the between seasons. It's held up well to working dogs, too. No tears or punctures(yet lol), despite GSDs and Mals best efforts. Just buy it.
