I'm not a fan of hoodies but miss those front pockets which aren't easy to find on crewnecks. This is one of my favorite sweatshirts because of the pocket and color (I purchased the blue one).

Hoodies are often too hot for me, so the crew version with a kangaroo pocket is a nice compromise. This sweatshirt is SOFT, like diaper soft...which makes me have slight concern about long term durability, but it fits great and feels good and survived a couple of days out in the wood shop. So far so great.

I love the "kangaroo" pocket that's more or less standard on hoodies, but don't really want the "hood". These lightweight sweatshirts fit the bill nicely.
