  • This do-it-yourself Carhartt zipper slider repair kit lets you extend the life of your favorite Carhartt outerwear. Includes a #5 slider with pull tab and four top stops. Directions included.
  • Designed to fix the No. 5 slider on our metal zipper
  • How to determine zipper size: number 5 will be located on the back of the zipper. Either stamped in a circle or stamped at the bottom
  • If you no longer have the slider: count the teeth per inch. Number 5 has approximately 11 teeth per inch.

It fit perfectly to replace a previous crushed one. However it definitely took two people to put it on the jacket because the fabric was thick. The product is good 👍

All that's needed to refresh an old hoodie zipper!

This zipper repair kit was exactly what I needed to return my fave Carhartt hoodie to regular rotation. It was easy to determine which size to buy. I found a video tutorial which clearly showed the steps to remove the broken zipper head and install the new one. The whole procedure took me 12 min from start to finish and most of that was trying to finagle the new zipper head onto the old zipper. Very pleased with this purchase!

An excellent replacement zipper for my Carhartt jersey, and the little clamps were appreciated. Your image would improve if you were to charge only $5 for shipping, then add the remainder to the price if necessary. Note that my clever neighbor applied his dremel to the top of the old clamp and was able to easily remove it with his fingernail.
