Carhartt 105512 - Women's Loose Fit Weathered Duck Coat

I wasn't sure what to expect with the coat. I've wanted a Carhartt for awhile as I tend to steal my husband's a lot. This coat is much better than I expected. I love how many pockets it has. It's very warm, fits as expected and is very durable.

Got this yesterday its great! Fits good and you can wear a sweater or hoodie under it without a problem! Its a factory 2nd but I cant tell anything was wrong with it. I recommend it great price too!

Sizing was tough to decide, but went with medium rather than small: glad I did! Lots of room for layering with wool sweaters! Fabric is STIFF, and makes it difficult to zip (it is a 2 way zipper), but I hope fabric will soften over time (I've had this coat for just a couple of weeks). Side hand warmer pockets are difficult to access (opening is narrow), but this may be why it was sold as "seconds". This coat kept the cold and the wind at bay: so glad I decided to get this coat!

I am 5'6", 145 lbs with 37-1/2 bust. My normal size is usually a medium or large. Based on the other reviews, I ordered a medium and the fit is perfect even with layers underneath. There is plenty of room in the shoulders and chest to move freely. There were several comments in other reviews about the zipper; it is a little tricky the first couple times but once you figure out you need to hold both pulls together before you put the tab in it works pretty well. The zipper could be a little more user friendly, but it is not something that would keep me from purchasing this jacket. The side entry pockets are small, and I can't get my hands in them with gloves on so probably most useful for bare hands. The warmth is pretty good for me down to about 10 degrees and then you would probably want to either wear a sweatshirt underneath or a warmer jacket. I live in MN and it gets very cold here. I wear a heavy mens carharrt jacket for the really cold weather which also has much larger side entry pockets to hold all the stuff I use when I am out doing chores.

Even its warmth level is 2, it s good enough for most of the winter time in Vancouver. Lots of roomy pockets. Many reviews talk about the zipper. Well… it’s not that difficult but it does takes a bit effort to zip it up. Factory second deal is awesome! Mine got a small weird stitch on one pocket, but who cares!

Fabric is a bit stiff yet but that will change as I am able to wear it again. A bit warm for summer temps!! Looking forward to wearing it again this Fall. Love the variety of pockets.

This jacket is exactly what they said it would be and more! I love it! I keep it in my car at all times because it gets cold at night here even when the days are warm!
