Jacket is sherpa lined, and feels soft to the touch, not stiff. Prewashed?Jacket runs a little big, must be the relaxed fit.Would of liked to see an adjustable waist, and button down instead of a zipper.All in all a good work coat, warm, and comfortable.Happy with purchase. I would recommend!

Very nice coat. Quality is that of which Carhartt is known for. Reading reviews before I bought it said size runs big and that held true. When layering up the coat fits better. The only thing I would like to see is flexible wrist cuffs be incorporated into the arm sleeves.

Carthartt is a tried and true brand. My spouse’s father owned this denim sherpa jacket when he was a truck driver in the 80s. I bought it for him this Christmas since he mentioned all of the fond memories of seeing his father sport a classy worker’s jacket riding around all over the US. He is obsessed with it. The lining, the stitching, and the inside pockets are perfect for him to stash his wallet and sunglasses. He is 6’1” and slim, and the Large, and this fit him like a glove. I was relieved to see his sleeves lined up perfectly. (tall people problems) It’s warm, and roomy too. The shipping was great and it arrived in a timely manner! These jackets can be “buy it for life” just wash and take care of them accordingly :)

Got this to replace my old worn J292. I was pleasantly surprised on the quality and fit of this new style. I like the added Sherpa on the collar and the denim seems to be thicker weight than the J292
