Just got the hoodie and it happened to be raining. It was down in the 40s and I thought it wouldn't keep me warm due to it was so thin. Well, I was wrong. The rain never got through to my skin, and it was comfortably warm. The hood stayed in pace over my baseball cap. So far so good. Cant give a review on durability yet, only wore it once.

You can't go wrong with Carhartt! I work in a refrigerated environment and this hoodie is perfect. It's a little baggy around the mid section but for someone who is 5'10 and stocky the sleeves are a perfect length.

The hoodie is great and is a better value than the cost infers. There are other hoodies out there that are flashier or and more vogue name brand but none are better than the Carhartt.

This is the first Carhartt article of clothing that I have bought for myself but it won't be the last. The sweatshirt is extremely well made and fits perfectly. I am a pretty big guy but the XL is exactly right on me. We have had a cold snap here in Atlanta and I have layered the sweatshirt with various shirts and fleeces underneath and it has accommodated them easily. I have not worn it in heavy rain but in light rain, it just sheds the rain. I couldn't be happier with this item!
