It's hotter than the back door to hell here in Texas. I bought these (2) shirts to keep my arms from frying. They are light enough that they don't hold the heat and they help keep me cooler by holding the sweat in (think Bedouins). I bought tall shirts and the sleeves are about an inch too long. I use the second cuff button to keep them up. I really like these and think they are a better value even though they are more expensive than the off brand shirts. I use them hard and they seem to be durable enough to get my money out of them. If you are a veteran, use the discount!
