Great work shorts. Carhartt and hard to go wrong. Durable and cool material, nice cut and nice fit. Nine-inch inseam is great. Eight would be better but always hard to find. I find inseam important as too long and they drag over the knee as I work in the heat and I am forever ripping the lower seams/cuffs. These shorts will last a few summers and only become more comfortable as they wear.
