These shorts are great for working around the barn and garden in the summer. The material dries quickly and dirt/hay/fur brushes right off. Lots of secure and good size pockets for 'all the things'. If you tend towards thigh chafing as i do, i recommend boxer briefs or bike shorta underneath as they are pretty loose fitting. While i like the way waistband fits and feels, it looks a little old lady-ish. I usually wear an untucked tee which hides it anyway, so not a big deal for me. Comfort is worth it!
