True to deflecting light winds and rain. I wore mine at the coast and it held up nicely. It was comfortable, durable, and warm. Not to mention it’s very stylish as most Carhartt items are these days.I highly recommend this for adventure or every day use!

Very nice jacket, but I think it would be better if the hood were removable. This jacket works very well with the tall size Carhartt T-shirts.It covers it completely

Heavier than a sweatshirt, lighter than a winter coat. Plenty of room for layering. Perfect for fall and spring. Worn it in the rain a couple times already, and the Rain Defender works fine. Seems like typical Carharrt quality. Very happy with this purchase.
