It is very warm, withstands the cold of autumn in Patagonia Argentina... we'll see how we do in the winter.
The only thing I didn't like is that the pockets are not warm.

Nice and super warm. Fits well without being bulky. Easy to move and work in while feeding horses. Only issue is the hood gives me tunnel vision due to it being so deep. It's like looking out of a tube!! I'd give it 4.5 stars.

Do I work outside? No.Am I cold all the time? Yes.This coat keeps cold wind from cutting through me, has plenty of pockets, and feels durable enough to last a long, long time. Also like the elastic cuffs to keep cold air from going up the sleeves.My only complaint is the pulls for the hood, which can scratch against my face or neck sometimes.

Love the coat, very warm, the storage is more than plenty and pockets keep hands warm. Drawstrings at waist inside of coat don't sench in as much as I hoped. The sleeves are a bit too short for me. I'm 5'8 with arms that hit below my hips and the sleeves are pry 2 inches above my wrist which is greatly disappointing. If I wasn't in need of a heavy coat rn I would of sent back but don't think a bigger size would be the answer as It would be way to big I the body.

I bought the black version of this jacket in person at a local store, and loved it. Due to the very cold temperatures here in the western UP of Michigan, I decided I wanted one which was slightly larger so I could fully layer - I'm talking about five additional layers. Underneath this jacket, I wear an undershirt, a base layer, a wool base layer, a hoodie, and a thinner down vest or coat. Due to our weather conditions, it's that necessary. Although the medium was able to handle all that, I wanted just a little more room. For reference, I wear a medium or large shirt, 38C, 145lbs, 5' 3". As an aside, this is supposed to be an irregular, but for the life of me, I can't find any irregularities!
