Solid build quality and good water proofing

From:  Age: 55-64 Gender: Female
Review from 6 months farm labor I'm 5' 8" 150 lbs and got a regular small Would recommend a short small for someone my size because the legs were a few inches longer than I'd like, even after using the velcro straps. I didn't use these too heavily so I didn't experience any real wear but build quality was on par. Waterproofing is pretty excellent. I work in rain, mud, wet conditions and water was always kept out. Kneeling is mud/wet leaves for a while can start to get a little uncomfortable. Stayed warm with a layer of jeans/carpenter pants underneath below freezing temps, but I havent worn them in snow yet. The side pockets were placed lower down than I would like and having them be zippered instead of velcro would have been nice. Also some additional smaller pcokets for holding small tools. But definitely would recommend for anyone needing something to go over a layer of clothes for tough conditions.

Great for Fishing

From: New Lenox, IL Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
Bought the Storm Defender bibs in lieu of Cabela's/BassPro uninsulated Guidewear for fishing purposes (because they're half the price). Bibs are great. Lightweight, durable and absolutely waterproof. Fished an entire day in steady rain, my jeans underneath were completely dry once rain stopped. Bibs dried out quickly. Very happy with them, and would definitely recommend this product for use by fishermen. My single gripe: Stitching at the v-seam at the hip needs a bit more reinforcement.

Storm Defenders

From:  Age: 45-54 Gender: Female
Do a lot of wet trenchwork, Has upheld very well kept me warm dry and saved a lot of my clothes, only complaint being the zipper function on the pant legs, somehow the right pant leg zipper skipped and now it doesn't seal when zipping, gonna try to contact carhartt to see if i can send them in to be fixed. That being said I will be buying another pair

I've always trusted carhartt and once again they proved it..I got the bibs recently and after an entire day of working in the rain, sitting in wet forklift seats ect (lumber yard) , at the end of the day I was bone dry! Worth every penny!

wind proof and water proof a little snug to fit over my boots but thanks to the leg zipper they do go over my boots a little snug though.
