Over the years I've gone through 2 of these jackets. I work construction and wear this thing almost everyday. It's water proof, can fit lots of layers underneath, and helps provide just a little extra warmth.
Things to watch out for, the fit is a little boxy, I've broken the chest zipper on every one that I've owned, and the sleeves are also a little short.

I've been looking for a jacket like this! It is a substantial jacket that can withstand tough spring and fall weather. The materials and construction are good quality. The zippers seem strong and built to last. I would have appreciated the body to be a bit longer. and while I appreciate the hood a lot, i'd have liked it better if it could be folded away in the collar.
