Loose Fit, sliding scale ??runs small?? is a huge mistake on their part. Disappointing -

Not sure why the sliding scale for SIZE reads ??runs small?? bc it runs BIG & No where in the description does it say ??Loose Fit?? but as soon as I ordered this as a gift for my son, the confirmation email said Loose Fit! I called bc my son is tall & slender and was reassured it must be a description mistake on my order confirmation. Nope! It came in and says Loose Fit on the tag, & on the jacket! Now what Carhartt? Return it just to get the same runaround??

After resolving the store ordering the wrong type of coat. I??m pleased with the product. If the store does not have your size order yourself online it prevents returns and delays on the product. Great coat very warm, I wish the hood was removal like order style.

Fantastic jacket

This jacket is so warm. So far it??s only been in 8 degree weather and at that temp the jacket can be left unzipped. Plenty of pockets and it??s not stiff fresh out of the box. I love it !!

Love it. It??s unfortunate they don??t make this for females. I bought it in a men??s small. Like everyone has said the hood is rather big and I wish it had straps on the inside to carry it like the Canada Goose ones but overall I love mine

This is the real deal. Should last 10+ years Criticisms: - It??s big. The picture does clearly show how large it fits. Best to try it on in a store to ensure the best fit. -A second pull cord at the bottom of the jacket would be nice. - You must adjust each strap and pull cord. Not a criticism but important to note. Adjust the hood strap because the hood can hang low into your vision. Don??t forget the waist band, the wrist straps, and the hood pull cord. Very durable. You can give it light abuse and it washes up nicely. Worth every penny.

Warmest coat I??ve ever owned

Great coat that keeps me warm even with the zipper undone. Comfortable and big, I took the faux fur lining off of the hood an no other adjustments were needed
