Delivery was very prompt even during holiday period. Recently working sub zero temperatures and wind chills to -30 never did my body get cold. Excellent, highly recommend

I gave this 4 stars because of the plastic zipper the first coat they sent me i had to send back the replacement works better than the last. I got an Xlg. and i usually get a XX it fits perfect in the shoulders but when you get to my legs its very tight, i just love the way this coat feels wearing it just wish Carhart would go back to better zipper.

Overall, I am happy with the quality, looks, and fit. Haven't worn in cold weather yet. I have a 42-inch chest and a 32-inch waist with an athletic build. According to the Carhartt size chart a large was my chest size and medium is the waist size. I don't like jackets that are huge in the waist because they look like a tent on me. Since others say this coat runs large, I ordered a medium. The coat fits nicely and looks good but room for additional sweatshirts is limited in my case. A large would give me the room but be very large around the waist.

The warmest coat I've ever owned without the bulk. Although I haven't put the coat through its paces, it seems very durable. If you plan to buy this coat, get a size smaller than normal as it runs big. I purchased one and was forced to send it back and get the next size down.

The jacket is typical of Carhartt, well made. Have not experienced the real cold weather I purchased the jacket for, but so far it is very warm. I first ordered an extra large, but it ran very large. Dungaees returns were hassle free and I was able to get one that fit in just over a week.

Now the best Carhartt coat I own. The fabric is excellent for breaking the wind. You don't even feel the bone chilling wind going through the fabric of the coat. I had concerns when I saw that it wasn't the traditional Carhartt fabric. Also the Full Swing gussets give you full range of motion which makes the coat very comfortable...not binding like some heavy coats can be.

Definitely runs large, I could probably order a size down but since it’s for winter a hoodie underneath is expected. Can’t attest to the warmth yet due to global warming keeping temps in the 50’s in the northeast.
