Terrible zipper

Jacket has a double zipper that is probably the worst I have ever encountered... just doesn't work. The jacket is warm and is quite attractive in fit and finish. I would suggest Carhartt get their act together in selecting zippers for their products.

One zipper was loose in the bag , the other zipper did not line up to zip . I paid shipping to get it to me and since you don’t take exchanges I had to pay to return it …so basically I paid about $30 for nothing .

Solid Jacket - Good Fit!

Solid jacket! Fit is great for layering under but isn’t too big to throw over a t-shirt.
The collar has some room for improvement, it’s polo style and while it does stay up it’s not ideal for cold. I own the vest version of this, the collar is a moc style, zip to top and Sherpa lined… I think that would be a welcomed addition to this jacket. Knocks on functionality only for the collar.

Winter Over Coat

Excellent combo for me.
I like to layer my winter coats and this jacket is just right for the task of outermost layer.
The canvas outer is tough and virtually self cleaning, stays pliable in subzero temps and the pockets are gracious enough for hands with gloves on, that you can grab keys.
