Way better quality than Columbia!!! This rain jacket is meant to be in the rain. It doesn't absorb the water like most rain jackets after being in the rain for thirty minutes. Solid piece of equipment for my daily job. The only regret is I didn't buy this jacket sooner!

Perhaps a little larger than I expected, that will make it easier to fit over a bulky sweater. Got a chance to wear it in a decent rainstorm and it kept me dry. It's the quality of clothing that I have come to expect from Carhart, so I am pleased.

Excellent Carhartt quality as always! Great Velcro type closures to keep mud and hay out of zipper and Velcro wrist for easy adjustment when used over another jacket. Large zipper closures on pockets that are also covered. I actually ordered more for gifts and each recipient was also very pleased. Thanks Carhartt for having such high standards!

Really keeps me dry.

This coat is made to work. Looks good for very casual usage too. Very strong seams and material that I'm not worried about ripping. Hood peak extends forward enough to keep rain from your face. (Should have an adjustment strap to move it forward or back though). Great protection.
