Absolutely perfect. Ease of movement and totally dry during our hiking experiences in Iceland. One of the things you hear a lot about there is having WINDPROOF clothing as well as waterproof. These pants did a fantastic job.

The pants are solid like the jacket. BUT the drawstring to keep up the pants isn't the right thing to keep these pants from creeping down. May be design the waist with elastic belt inside the waist. the belt has silts for the buttons to adjust the size of the waist. The best expanse are toddlers pants. inside the waist is a stretchy belt with silts. Once you have the desired size, you attach the belt to the buttons using the silts on the belt.

The drawstring immediately loosens and does not keep snug against the waist. The pants consistently slip below the waist and I had to continually readjust them throughout the day. These paints are probably more suitable to sedentary activities such as standing still or sitting. It is not suitable to strenuous activities.

Great rain pants for work. Only complaint is they only zip to calf, so hard to get on/off with boots. But if that's a priority, get the heavyweight pants. These are NOT lightweight nylon tent material that get saturated and leak through. Well worth the cost when I'm caught out in the rain for extended periods
