Carhartt 103150 - Women's Original Fit Smithville Pant

These ladies pants are awesome!!! I bought two pair a year and a half ago. They are only worn out in the inner thigh. I just went eBay and found a size 16. I’m so jacked about that!! Please start making these again!! Thanks for a quality pair of ladies pants,

These pants have fixed some of the issues I feel I’ve had with Carhartt pants in the past and that’s nice to see. The elastic waistband! Gapping waist has been a chronic problem for me with their work pants. I’m happy the design team has finally figured out that you can have wide hips/large butt AND a small waist. These fit perfect. Some might prefer a slightly higher waist, but these are a good midrise on me. I ordered my normal size and they weren’t too small for a change. I am 160, 5’7” and wear an 8/10 in most pants. I’ve had to order a 12 and even a 14 once in different Carhartt cuts. So it’s nice to know that with this cut, my size is actually the size I should order, no guessing. I am left handed so I like that the cell phone pocket, which I use for carrying a flashlight, screwdriver, wrench, and some pens, is on the left side where I can just reach straight down for it. I also think the regularly placed pockets are plenty deep and I’m not entirely sure what I will ever use the thigh pockets for. They just seem awkward to me. These pants are bootcut when zipped up and are more like flared when unzipped. I wear Chelsea style steel toes for work and they fit over the tops of them just fine when zipped. The legs fit me like a slightly relaxed straight leg. They aren’t baggy, but I can still climb in and out of boats all day with ease. The fabric seems durable and the double knees are always great, but the fabric picks up every little bit of fuzz and dirt and dog hair. Maybe have a lint roller handy if you are wearing these in an office setting. Overal, I think Carhartt has done a great job with this style, but it would be nice to have a 12oz duck option that fits me the same way. I have tried the other cuts, and they just don’t quite do it for me in fit as well as these. But I am looking forward to seeing how these pants weather.

I've worn and washed these pants once and they have attracted so much fuzz I can no longer wear them. What a waste. Do not recommend for anyone that has pets or brushes up against other fabrics as any and all hair and dust collect on material and won't come off easily.

I bought these in April and they lasted until October. I wanted a lightweight pant for summer. These turned out to be very comfortable with the right about of stretch. I work a field job and spent the summer doing herbicide application. These were stain resistant enough to be easily washed, but were no match for dye. The first month or so water would bead on the surface before slowly soaking, but the water resistance faded away. They finally ripped after I got a small hole on the back of my thigh. Within a few hours the hole turned into a huge rip below my butt. Good thing I have nice and professional co workers!

I've owned these for 2 months and they are holding up well on the farm. Nice enough for a meeting & tough enough for the field. They fit true to size. My favorite features are the double front knees, side zip leg openings (I open just a bit to make a boot cut fit), and elastic waist; very comfortable! I have the khaki color and I can get stains out. I wish there were some more medium colors to choose from...right now there's only light (khaki) and pretty dark. A few colors in the middle would be awesome!!
