These are my new favorite Carhartt shorts (previous were the classic, 11" 9 oz canvas shorts). Made of lightweight ripstop, the 7 material wears light in warm weather, and fries relatively quickly too. The 10" inseam is perfect, and the cellphone pocket has been widened to correctly accommodate today's phones. I would definitely order a size up, as these bad boys run small compared to other Carhartt styles, and are also 100% cotton. The stone blue is one of my favorite colors. Another pair on the way!

Excellent shorts. Had to buy a size larger than I normally do. Would advise to do the same. Not as breezy and light as I would like but sure that means they will last much longer than the shorts I bought at the box store before. Overall excellent product so far.
