Carhartt 102730 - Women's Hayden Double Front Original Fit Dungaree

By far my favorite pants for woman made by carhartt. I'm a full time welder by day and a welding instructor by night, so comfortable, durable pants is a must. These pants stretch and move so well, I honestly love wearing them. I find their movement capability so much better than any other of the styles, including the Crawford. Hands down this will be the pants I go to for my jobs. If I could rate them higher than a 5 i would. These pants make doing this rough trade that much easier I swear!

They fit like the original but unfortunately, they are now stretchy and are not as rugged, or thick, as the original canvas material. I am a forest ecologist and need stuff to stand up to me climbing over fallen trees and getting poked all day long. I also need the thickness of the old ones to prevent mosquito bites. The new ones are not as thick. What also sucks is that, I'm pretty sure, the men's versions are the standard (thick and non-stretchy) material. Minor point, but it is also disappointing that they are no longer available in the tan.

My daughter’s pants were fine after exchanging sizes.My son has been buying these pants for over 5 yrs. Same pant, same size. This year we bought and shipped him 2 pairs. He is skinny so size is 28 by 30. They were huge! He tried shrinking them but still big.Will try a different company next year. I know you make products for big men but what about the other end of the spectrum.

In short: I’m very happy with these pants. Size 8 reg; I’m 5’8”, 120lbs. Pros: Waist doesn’t gap. Length is great (not too long or too short) Lots of pockets. Not baggy or too tight. Cons: for my taste the fabric is just a bit stiff, but they’re work pants! I wish the leg-side pockets were just a tiny bit bigger. Otherwise: Awesome pants.

Love them. True straight leg fit. Sits perfectly above the hip bones. Can be dressed up or worn casual. Used for work or play. Most versatile pants I’ve ever owned.
