I absolutely love this jacket. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it runs a little larger in size. Even with the extra small i ordered it's still a little big but everything else makes up for that small flaw. I would recommend this.

I am 5'6'' about 160 lbs and ordered a medium. It is a bit large but will be great for layering on cooler nights by the fire. I really wish this jacket had a nice collar on it because when it is colder or windy my neck gets very chilly! A big collar on it would look more stylish and keep you warmer. I love the waist drawstring for tightening to give you more of a shape if you want to wear it out instead of just for utility purposes

Carhartt is the only company that makes a ladies cotton jacket that fits perfectly and has the features I need. I love the fact that the extra large fits my shoulders without binding and has enough room to wear a flannel shirt or cotton sweater underneath. The cut of the jacket is very flattering and looks great on. I'm petite but the jacket does not look huge on me. The sleeves are proportioned perfectly as well and the bottom cuffs are adjustable. The pockets are deep and have a snap close. It is so hard to find ladies coats with decent pockets. This is my second jacket in this style. I bought this one because I was looking for a khaki color for Spring.
