This is probably the worst coat I have ever owned. It does do a good job keeping you warm and relatively dry. It takes a while for the material to dry on its own. The double zipper is the worst feature; it's very finicky and has to be lined up just right before it allows you to zipper the coat. after only a year of use, the hook-part at the bottom of the zipper track is starting to separate from the material, making it that much more difficult to zipper. the zipper also gets stuck when trying to take the coat off, due to the zipper-hook separating, and it won't release the zipper until you have it perfectly aligned. also, no matter how many times you wash it, the jacket always smells like a set of brand new tires. i would never recommend this coat to anyone.

I purchased the xl olive green. I'm 5'2", 206 lbs. Xl top or 18-20 (42in bust is comfortable fit) size 16w pants. The sleeves are a perfect length. Length of jacket falls just below bottom. Jacket is roomy enough I can wear a sweatshirt and still zip and still have room. Coat is warm, worn on 26 degrees and windy day, did not feel the wind.

I LOVE this coat! This is a steal for the price! I’m outside a lot, and it keeps me very warm! It’s lighter weight, has lots of pockets, and is flannel lined! This is my second winter with it and it still looks brand new, after many outdoor adventures. Very durable. It is absolutely my go to winter coat. I also love that it covers my butt. I’m 5’9 and the medium was a perfect fit for me once I drew in the drawstrings :) LOVE.

I was torn on sizing because of the reviews I had read and ended up going with my normal size, which is Large. I am 5'6 and about 165lbs. The large fit great in the arms/chest area. The arms were the perfect length too! NOW, the major deal breaker for me and why I had to return it and NOT exchange for another size was how big the stomach part of the coat is. It was very wide. Too wide to even wear a sweatshirt under it and make it fit, even with the waist cinched all the way as tight as it could go.. I didn't want to exchange for a medium because the arms would've ended up being to tight and to short for my preference.

Runs large for my preference; but, the quality with features makes this my all around jacket for barn work to going out and about town, even church: covert and overt pockets, drawstring waist keeps out draft and cinches waist to fit better, long enough sleeves with wristband for draft control, feminine color still rugged, good for spring to winter, not too heavy or too warm with plenty of room to layer. No strong odors from the material used, either, a huge plus.

Sorry, that's all I can say good about this coat. I tried both a medium and a large. The medium fit but the arms were too tight. The large was a little better on top but the bottom was so wide. I tried cinching the waist to take it up. Unfortunately, the spring locks were defective and wound up returning it for a refund. Additionally, there is no way to tie the hood. There is elastic there but no way to hold, or tie it, once you pull it tight. Had this fit and not been defective it would have been great. The fabric and color (deep wine) are quite nice. It felt soft and warm. The zipper was a little iffy. Either Carhardt quality has really tanked or women's items are not made like men's. The description says imported; It is imported from China and feels and looks cheaply made. This was the third item I purchased and 2 out of 3 were defective. Dungarees.net was awesome in their services and helpfullness.

The pocket wasnt sewn properly on the inside the first time I received this coat, but the company was amazing and got a coat out to me in about 2 days to replace it! This coat is perfect.

This coat fits so perfectly and can be adjusted in the waist area with inside pulls. It has plenty of deep pockets and a hood. It is stylish enough to wear to work or church. Love love love the merlot color. My daughter has the same coat in the olive green and she loves it also. Thanks for being such a great value.
