I have been looking for a hooded soft shell jacket for quite some time now. Was in Detroit and stopped by the flagship store and was able to try on the non-hooded version for a size comparison. Ended up ordering the 2XL and when it arrived was a bit shorter than I like (6’2, 260#). Looked at the website again, and the 2XLT was in stock! Quickly called customer service to check on return process. Sent back the 2XL via their prepaid return label, and ordered the 2XLT the same day. It fits perfectly! Have worn it almost everyday since, and get a lot of compliments on the look, feel and quality! The only complaint I have would be that it’s imported, which is stated in the description. I would gladly pay twice as much, if it were made by American Labor! Carhartt, please take note of this. Many of us wish to spend our hard earned American dollars on products made by our fellow citizens!

I love the jacket its water repellant and has a hood. But its really restrictive in your range of movement. Its great for daily use but I wouldn't work outside in it.
