I like these pants to work in far better than jeans. They are roomy for me, I ordered a size up. Flexible and durable for tree cutting and outdoor property management, weed cutting and gardening.

I have been wearing these pants for a few years but Carhartt has decided to discontinue the straight leg style in favor of tight legs, which are too uncomfortable to actually work in so I was thrilled to find a few pairs on Dungarees.com. I bought as many as I could reasonably store. These are great pants.

For slim/thick woman (like myself) I would recommend sizing up. Normally a size 8.

We recently bought some property and have used these daily in the outdoors and are great for gardening, cutting wood, pruning back bushes, bee stringer safe, general outdoor and more rustic work. I have 2 pairs.

I appreciate the workmanship in these pants, good quality fabric. The pockets are deep as you need when you're working. I haven't had them long, but I've had no problem with them. I'm picky, and have returned others for not measuring up.

Add 5 feet four and 163 pounds. The size 16 regular loose fit mostly fit me very well. The waistband is a little gap in back, it could be maybe one or 2 inches smaller but this is not a big issue. I had a seamstress shorten the inseam to 27 inches. The upside of this is that with the scrap material I have material to make patches. The previous similar work pants were very durable, so durable that I’m still using them even patched.

The fit & fabric is just like my beloved 10+ year old pants. I’m so happy to finally find these! They’re hard to find- I hope they keep making them. They are soft & comfortable from the beginning, but hold up for years.
