Carhartt 101740 - Woodsville Jacket - Fleece Lined

The elastic cuffs are the perfect size on this jacket as long as you dont have little baby hands. If you have hard working, man sized hands, you will enjoy this jacket.

Jacket is nice for the money. Only complaint is the cuffs are to big. I don't like a tight fit to begin with but these are to large even for XXL jacket.

The cuffs on this jacket, even though elasticized, are way too big. They slid completely over my hands when worn. It cost me $45 to have the cuffs resized so I could wear this jacket. Very disappointed in the quality of Carhartt products recently.

Light enough to be an inner shell for me but covers up over a hoody with plenty of room. True to size in a large and rain repellent is decent and keeps you warm for light duty stuff.

Nice prices for 2 jackets. Carhartt quality in construction of jacket. Only time will tell about durability. As far as sizing regular large fit me perfect. I am 5’10, 195 lbs with medium build. Would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence. Only minor issue/improvement is in color selection, somewhat limited.

Im a carhartt fan. I've got tons of gear, and this was my most recent purchase. I was looking for something more light weight and packable than my standard heavy jacket, and this guy was on sale at a store! Personally prefer the black over the camo, but since its reversible, that isnt a huge concern. For $100, i would look elsewhere. but if you can find these on sale for $75 or less, go and get one! The fleece lining is soft and warm, and the outer shell keeps things dry.

Very Disappointed with this coat. I have always fit 3X Tall and paid 2Day Air to get this in time for family trip. Not even close. Sleeves too short and body doesn't even reach my belt.

In true Carhartt fashion this is a great jacket! Construction is very durable. Color is great. Jacket fits perfect with room to move and work. Keep up the great products!!????

Great jacket for everyday wear, looks good and feels good! Just have to be careful to not catch the outside material on anything it will rip. If you have it flipped to the camo side outside then it is very durable.

***WARNING*** I HAVE LIVED IN INTERIOR ALASKA GOING ON 8 YEARS. MY TOLLERANCE OF COLD MAY DIFFER FROM YOURS LIVING IN MORE LIGHTER TEMPERATURE LOCATIONS. DO NOT ASSUME YOU CAN JUST WEAR A TSHIRT UNDER IT ALONE IN COLD TEMPERATURES. LAYER UP AND BE SAFE!!! THE JACKET: I have a 101740 Woodsville jacket, black and Realtree xtra. Information tag is located inside the left bottom standard pocket. It's tucked away so just flip it inside out and you will find it! I have sent pictures to Carhartt to show how it looks on an everyday Joe in the snow, so be on the look out! Living in North Pole Alaska it gets to -50 not including wind every year. We have many different Carhartt jackets for the changes in conditions. So far I have worn my Woodsville black and camo jacket (fleece side in) since 40 degrees and so far 2 degrees with just a tshirt underneath is the coldest I have worn it at (temps haven't hit negatives yet so I can't say anything). I have worn it in snow drifts and rain. This jacket is water repellent NOT waterproof. It does a great job keeping the moisture off but I do not suggest standing out in a downpour for a lengthy amount of time. I have worn this jacket just standing outside doing nothing and I have worn it working outside like snow removal and tasks at work. All times in nothing but a tshirt underneath. I was very warm just standing and I did get too warm sometimes when working hard so I did have to remove my jacket to cool off a little from time to time. ABOUT ME: I am 5'4 female at 200lbs. I have a longer torso and a more muscular upper body. My jacket is an XL Tall. THE GOOD: Super light weight and makes a great pillow. The army has taught me to sleep anywhere and this jacket helps make that possible! Very soft fleece and many pockets both inside and out! The fleece side has two button snap upper pockets and two standard down pockets. The black side has an upper zipped pocket and two standard down pockets... so plenty of secured places for your stuff. It looks very nice especially with the small bit of camo showing when the black is facing out. I love this jacket so much... I bought one for my husband (Alaska), my mother in law (Minnesota), my dad and step mom (California). If they had one for little kids... My daughter would have one in a snap!!! Great zipper, even in the cold. So far I have yet to find a major issue. The back has a longer tail to cover up the possible plumbers crack or showing of ones undergarments. Very very nice feature!!! THE BAD: I would like to see more color combinations. I wouldn't change what I have at all but not everyone likes camo or if you are a business professional... wear camo. Maybe a black and grey, or blue and something... Open up the field to more people. I suggest going up a size and possibly going a tall if you want to layer up underneath or have longer torso and arms. Carhartt has a FANTASTIC customer service staff so if it doesn't fit... it's easy to exchange. ***I DO NOT WORK FOR CARHARTT OR A SELLER OF CARHARTT PRODUCTS.
