Carhartt 101511 - 125th Anniversary Duck Apron

I really like the overall fit. It wraps around my sides and is just the right length for me (6' 0"). The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars in all categories is that I wish it had a better method for adjusting the neck strap length. The small metal bar slips. Perhaps a nylon buckle near the apron top so it wouldn't interfere with your neck.

My husband really likes his. Likes the neck strap, the length and durability. He works with a lot of different metals and it is holding up really well.

The apron is very tough, I think the length is just right for me. I'm 6'2" and it just covers my knees. Really, only 2 things I think are worth mentioning as drawbacks. 1- the neck strap is pretty rough on bare skin. I remedied this my wrapping a section of an old t-shirt to it and hem taping it together. Worked very well, took maybe 20 minutes. 2- I don't recommend washing it unless it really needs it. It shrinks a little bit, but makes the fabric pretty wrinkly and a bit distorted. The pockets are great, fits well, I'm sure it'll last longer than I need it to!

I wear this apron while gardening and grilling. I wipe my hands on it and it gets filthy but it washes well and the stains have released.

Love this apron. Fits my 6' 5" frame perfectly. Heavy duty and nicely proportioned, extends just past my knees. Loads of sensible pockets. One drawback is the string ties -- I hate tying behind my back, so I took a small but rugged clip off of an old pack I no longer use and cut one of the apron ties short so the clip is conveniently reachable from the side and had the wife sew the clips on. Perfect, inexpensive, adjustable upgrade to an otherwise great product. Carhartt should incorporate this into their product and send me a check for the design consultation.

I am well pleased with the features and the quality of the Carhartt apron. If you are looking for an apron--Look no further, you have USA made quality. I would highly recommend this apron. If you are familiar with Carhartt, then you can be sure you are getting the best!!!

Nice apron, looks, feels, and is durable. However, Carhartt claims it is made in the USA, IT IS NOT! The tag on my apron reads made in Mexico. As an Union member, I like to buy American made items to support American companies. Very misleading and disappointed with Carhartt.

After searching all over the Internet for weeks and coming up short, I thought of Carhartt. After all, they already make my favorite jeans and shirts. I checked them out and found this great shop apron. It has everything I was looking for- great construction, long in front, ties long enough to wrap around and tie in front, adjustable neck strap, and lots of pockets placed in convenient locations. I bought two so I always have one available when the other is in the wash.
