Carhartt 101228 - Bankston Sandstone Jacket - Quilt Flannel Lined

bought this out of neccesity on a trip to colorado 4 years ago and i do not regret it. I wear this almost every day because i work in the mountains and tends to be below freezing typically everyday. been snowboarding in it because i forgot powder jacket and i actually got too hot and the snow doesnt affect me ever and if its cold enough the snow will easily just brush off also very comfortable and not all constrictive, it fits me perfectly. I always get comments on it cause its just a classic look and my lady friends never complain. literally the best investment ive made in years. getting one for my bestfreind because he tends to wear mine any chance he can. i definetaly dont blame him. when it comes to durability like i said ive had it for over four years and my buddy was surprised to hear it was the same one i bought many years ago because its immaculate condition. im not easy on it either i work in it everyday and tend to take it everywhere in between.

This jacket is everything as advertised. It fits perfectly in each department: the arms are long enough, the body is fitted as it should, the shoulders don’t feel tight or too loose. It starts out a little stiff but breaks in after a little, which shows the durability and heavy duty quality of this jacket: it will stand up to whatever you can throw at it. It is a coat of the highest quality. Most of the time I can’t tell how cold it really is with this jacket because it is so warm. The look of this jacket is a classic. It looks sharp and rugged and my woman always says how handsome I look in it, so that’s a big plus. This coat has the chops to deal with biting winters and swoon the ladies. 5/5 from me.

I am 5’9, 177lbs and I wear a regular medium shirt. I just bought this jacket and the large fits me PERFECT. Not too loose and not too tight.

This is my second bankston Carhart Jacket. I loved the first one so much that I decided to get another. The first one is still in wearable but getting shabby looking, I wear it mow as my favorite fishing jacket. The new one on the other hand seems to be of lesser quality. The huge downside is the zipper. The zipper on my last jacket is considerably larger and so much easier to handle. The new one is so small that it often times takes several attempts to sip up. This is going to be my last one I can only imagine how cheaply made the next generation is going to be

It does exactly as advertised, it was stiff at first but after a week it was broken in and the fit relaxed. I have full range of motion wearing this jacket. The optional hood fits perfectly as well. I would recommend this jacket to everyone. Its kept me warm in -9°F with wind at 30mph, I have yet to experience colder weather but I have no doubt it will perform. I work outside and it has stayed dry even throughout a snow storm and sleet.

Very comfy. First purchased a XL but was way to big. Yet I have a Sante Fe and one with a hood both XL. I recently received the L size and fits. Need to send other pictures be back.

Sleeves run short. Have ordered 4 of these over the years. This time the sleeves are noticeably shorter in the regular height. Tried in the tall version however too big all over.

Just purchased Bankston jacket. Materials are cheap and unworthy of the Carhartt name. Inside lining is flimsy and thin.

This is my first winter coat that is a Carhartt. It feels nice and warm and I know it will stand-up to any abuse on my farm as it's name says it all. Great jacket at a great price!
