Great short, perfect fit and lighter than other cargos. Did fade in color after swimming in them off the coast of Mexico. I'd say it wasn't the best idea after considering the salt water. The ripstop is awesome and wow do they dry fast!!

Sturdy version of the force extremes short

These shorts are just as good at handling the heat as the extremes short but the rip-stop material gives it a much stronger feel. These also run about a size big in the waist which isn't a huge deal.

These are my husband's favorite shorts. He works out in the Texas summer heat and these are the most comfortable with breathable fabric, quick drying when wet, and do not excessively stretch to be too big during the day. They are a good length and I think they look good. We will try the pants this winter! We always buy a size larger waist with Carhartt and these are no different.
