Carhartt 100733 - Washed Duck Jacket - Quilt Lined

So this is my second of these jackets, I had to replace the first one after losing almost 100 pounds since it is now huge. I absolutely love Carhartt, they are durable, functional and overall great clothes. This jacket is very warm and I love the fact it has a hood on it as well. The biggest difference between old and new: the old style has elastic cuffs on the sleeves but the new one has snaps. I don't mind snaps but even as a 200 lb. man with good sized hands, the cuffs are HUGE even when snapped on the tighter snap. I'm not sure why they changed this feature at all but then to make the cuffs so large they cover your hands is silly.

This jacket is just what I expected . Very comfortable to work in . Lots of movement like the video explained . Well worth the price .

Great coat, wouldn't change a thing. Got it to cut firewood this fall, the briars were tearing me up through a hoodie. Started wearing this coat with a tee shirt, no more bleeding.

size L, sleeves are too long, and fits somewhat long at the bottom, perfect for a tall person, very uncomfortable, I'm 5.5 and 191 pounds, the material looks good, strong and durable, I'm hopping it'll shrink a bit. Haven't tried it in the winter but I'm sure it will be comfortable and I could use the extra long sleeves !!!

This will make a good spring work/ casual jacket. I am 5'11", weigh 197 lbs. with an athletic build. I bought the medium. It fits me well but if you have a bit of a gut it might be a little snug there. The sleeves are a tad on the long side but work well since there are no elastic cuffs.

I ordered 5 of these for my warehouse crew. The coat is warm, but even though it is a cotton brushed shell it is still stiff. Not as stiff as the normal Carhartt, but still stiffer than the competition. Wrist openings are very large even with the snap closed. Nothing wrong with the quality, but based on my comments above I probably would not order these again.

I purchased this coat for my son who spends many days outdoors, usually after a winter storm. In our part of the country, cold is less of a problem than wind. This jacket, with the hood provides comford and warmth, making getting the job done a bit easier.
