This jacket is thick, but not heavy, and very warm. I was worried the sleeves would be too short or tight, expecially if I was wearing long sleeves underneath, but it is great. The sleeves are long enough (I'm 5'9", 150 lbs) and loose enough to wear with layers underneath. I liked this jacket so much, I bought one for my mom and another in a different color for me. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the collar. It's too short to fold over, but tall enough that the zipper is right at jaw level.

I bought this sweatshirt not only because of a closeout price but also that it isn't hooded. Sometimes you just want a cozy zip up sweatshirt without the bulk of a hood, this sweatshirt delivers. It has the quality you would expect from carhartt along with warmth and is also a bit stylish. I would definitely purchase again.

Purchased this for my daughter as a gift. She has been spending alot of time outdoors and needed a nice warm sweatshirt without a hood. this pairs nicely with her Carhartt vest.

I love this hoodie. I wear it almost everyday at work in the office. I've had it for about a year. The cuffs on the sleeves are trashed. I've sewed them twice, but there's no hope anymore. The elbows are also worn through. Really wish this would have held up like the rest of my Carhartt gear.

Haven't worn the sweatshirt much, but seems as tho it will work to keep me warm during the cold months. My only con would be the fact that it seems to run small. I hope when I wash it that it doesn't shrink.

Very pleased with this sweatshirt. It's a thick fabric and is a very warm, very comfy garment. Not as blocky and bulky as most sweatshirts are. Pockets are a good size, not too big, not too small. No problem with shrinkage or construction quality. The only "issue" is that I don't have a model's long neck, so I can't wear the collar straight up or it hits my jaw. A first world problem, I guess!

I was not happy with my purchase because it shrunk so much I couldn't wear it. Carhartt asked me to return it to them for inspection. I did and within 2 weeks I had a new sweatshirt. I have 2 of them and I discovered that if I hang to dry and do not use the dryer it does not shrink. I am now very happy with my purchase and would recommend it. Carhartt customer service was excellent.

I bought my first one a few years ago and wear it everywhere! It was starting to show some wear and purchased a new one! Couldn't be happier with this product, great for all seasons, and I work in an office setting and still wear it!
