Repeat purchase to have "in stock" when/if the first one wears out. I like these things to be a tad loose and this fits the bill. I particularly like the length as this one doesn't end up halfway to your neck when doing things, but still close enough to wear under a coat/jacket. The only "complaint" is that I sometimes have to "downshift" to the medium weight (multiple orders there too) when this one gets too warm. Don't really care for the hoodies

Ordered two of these size 2X tall. After one washing and drying in the dryer the sleeves and body shrunk. The stitching between the cuffs and sleeve and body is very firm and does not give which makes the fact that with the sleeves and body shrunk and then the seams grabbing your body extremely uncomfortable. You need to acknowledge that some people are large. I would like a response to this complaint.

Quality is as can be expected and it really does wick water away quite well. The fit that I purchased (LT) fits like a glove, as all of the Carhartt LT garments do. The collar, cuffs and lower edge hem are nice and think and tend to always lay flat - they seem like they won't stretch out. I highly recommend this and hope to see more colors available soon. There are plenty of hooded sweatshirts but it's hard to fine great crew-necks like this.

Simply put, this is the Cadillac of sweatshirts. Thick, high quality material, durable construction, and it's even rain repellent to boot! You may have to try a couple of different sizes in order to see which one fits you best, because it does run large, and it does not shrink much at all.
