Good jacket overall.

The hood hangs down over my eyes unless I have the jacket fully zipped up and the draw string pulled tight. Sometimes you just want to keep a light rain of your face while walking from your car to a building while carrying a bag and don't want to deal with having to tighten everything up and just want to flip the hood up. That doesn't really work with this jacket. Other than that I have no complaints.

Carhartt Rain Defender Jacket

Rain Defender?? Relaxed Fit Lightweight Jacket by carhartt. This is a great all around jacket. it works perfectly as a wind breaker and light jacket when a heavy winter jacket is not called for. I have worn this jacket in a downpour deluge of rain and stayed dry. The front zipper can come all the way up to your chin and the length keeps your pants pockets dry as well. The pull over hood is really great. It is slightly oversized enough that you can wear a ball cap under the hood if you are like me. As a veteran I appreciate the carhartt veteran's discount on all purchases. Get this jacket.

great lightweight windbreaker perfect for cool days .. love the fit. zipper works pretty seamlessly. the mock neck style collar covers your neck nicely !! hood could extend a little further beyond your forehead besides that it fits my head perfectly. i have the black and olive green both.
