Love a lot of things from this short but there is one thing that gets on my nerve and the reason for the three stars!
The button is a snap! Great! Except it snapped at the slightest pressure and no I did not buy a size too low. I can slide my hands easily between the short and my body. The belt is keeping the short in place but that is really annoying to have it pop all the time. And yes it happened almost immediately.

Great shorts! So far holding up well, they dry quickly. My only complaint/recommendation is the pockets. Would like to see a pencil slot along with a measuring tape slot or reinforced pocket.

They’re giant.. at the waste. They make absolutely no sense when it comes to a regular pair of sz 31 shorts.. I ordered mine 31 and that’s what I wear in every other brand period… but lo and behold Ariat suddenly thinks I’m a 29.. so that cool and all to know NOW.. but NOW I’ve got to return these giant 31’s.. and get a 29 which they do not have anymore of, so that’s just perfect! Now I’m stuck with these shorts and not even sure what to do with em’. I’ll continue to try the return procss!

I absolutely love these shorts and they are my go to shorts now. Living in Phoenix, AZ having breathable clothing that is comfy in extreme heat is essential and worth the money. One recommendation, I also really like the Tek shorts with the now discountinued Southwestern print pattern. I would love to see these shorts with that pattern or other Southwest theme patterns like on the Heilo shoes, which I also have :3
