These work pants are well made and very durable. The quality is awesome and they look much nicer than those of the competition. I only gave these 4 stars because the M7 is advertised as thin fit; however, these are more of a straight fit, as the pant does not have a slim(mer) leg opening. They are true to size, so no need to size up or down. I will continue to buy Ariat products over the competition!

Thus far good, durable pants. It would have been nice if they had a D-ring keyholder instead of just a fabric loop, and another drop pocket on the left leg as well, but thise are just nitpicks

I've had a pair of these for well over a year, and recently bought two more pairs as I constantly wear it around out of the house and in the shop. They're durable and despite the heavy usage, I've not seen any wear in the usual areas I see on other less durable pants I have.

Positives: The M7 has a straighter cut than the M4, which can appear looser and baggy. The M7 is exactly what I was looking for to begin with. I have fallen in love with the cell phone/pen pocket on all my Ariat pants. These fit true to size at first* (see below for details on shrinkage over time), are very comfortable and flexible, and have held up very well over 2 years of regular wear as part of my regular rotation.Mixed: My experience with the M4 pants of the same fabric is that they shrank in length over time. This time, I sized up the length from 30 to 32 with the expectation that they will shrink with repeated dryer cycles. My previous pairs experienced some color fading, and the stretch fabric seems to always look a bit wrinkled, but they held up to wear/tear and never developed any holes. I will wait a bit before determining if I need the extra length hemmed.
