All I have to compare to is Carhartt FR but my opinion on the ARIAT FR Malbec color roughneck is that this shirt may be a higher quality than the Carhartt logo FR shirts. They feel a little thicker to me, they hold their shape well, and I have washed about 3 times with very little shrinkage. This shirt is way comfortable and I just purchased 2 more. As for durability, I can’t really speak on because I’ve only had this shirt a short time. But if how it feels is any indication of durability, then I should have these shirts for years to come.
