Wolverine W01041 - Gold Waterproof Insulated 6" Boot

Living in upstate NY, I've been wearing these boots for 10 plus years. Paving and site work in the spring, summer, and fall. Snow plowing during the winter season. Comfortable write out of the box. Breath in the summer, and warm in the winter. They've lasted me on average 1 1/2 - 2 years before retiring them. I keep 1 pair new in the box, and just break them out when needed and order another pair to keep "on the shelf". Great boots! One less thing I have to think about, as long as they keep making them I will be wearing them!

I was hoping that a pair of boots that I had never tried before would fit well and be comfortable if I ordered them online. Sight unseen is tricky with footwear - especially a workboot. These Wolverines are literally the best workboot I have purchased. Right out of the box they fit better than expected. I did spray them with some waterproofing even though they claim to be waterproof. The Thinsulate worried me a bit because they were intended for all seasons but winter. I was not let down at all. On hot days they breath very well ...no clammy feet. Last week we had several days of heavy rain and I had no choice but to be out in it. There was a bit of leakage around the welt where the laces join the foot but nothing drastic. The boots dried fast and no change in the structure or the comfort level next day. These are excellent boots at an excellent price. I may buy another pair for when these may have seen their last.
