None of the Chinese boots are any good. They smell weird. They dryrot in one to two years. Then start leaking. The fit is not good and abrade your foot. La crosse, you should be ashamed of yourself. I used to be very happy with the grange. You're better off taping baggies to your feet. What a rip off.

Not your grandpa's boots any more.

From:  Age:  Gender:
These boots were exactly what I wanted and expected, until they were about 2 years old, then the rubber started to crack and I couldn't keep up with all the leaks. I could have bought a cheap pair of Itasca rubber boots if I had known that these wouldn't make it past 2 years. And of course the warranty is one year. I'm very disappointed. It may be that my grandpa's boots could be handed down but my grandchildren won't see these.

Awesome boots!

From:  Age:  Gender:
I’ve never owned boots like this before, but I definitely picked a great first pair. I will be buying more of this pair and other models in the future! Comfortable, tough, not the prettiest, but who cares when you’re trudging through mud with dry feet.

My long time favorite

From:  Age:  Gender:
I've had 3 pairs of these over the years. Just got my 3rd yesterday! Versatile enough, for what I do, to wear year around. Lighter weight to horseback and not so bulky to wear with my normal stirrups when wet days are going on. I sometimes add thick leather insoles for a little added insulation, with different weight socks also, during winter days. Easy on and off. Quick cleanup.

Made in China

From:  Age:  Gender:
I work my homestead daily doing all sorts of chores. I am 75 and I am your grandpa. I have worn Lacrosse boots all my life and i have on a pair right now. When the production moved to China the guality went to hell. Price went up quality went down. It’s a damn shame. I looking for a new pair of boots now since the pair I have on now are starting to crack. I try not to buy anything from China. Bring this production back to the USA. CHINESE CRAP!!!

Not what. They used to be

From:  Age:  Gender:
Im on my 4th pair. 1st two were great and lasted years Last two are lucky to last two years . made in China. make 'em here or don't make 'em at all. If you want to offer a cheaper boot then do it, but leave the good stuff like it is for those of us willing to pay more for a quality American made produc

They seem rather well made.

They seem rather well made. They fit my ankles snugly, and are relatively easy to don, and remove.

Bought my first pair of Lacrosse rubber boots about 40 years ago and have never been without a pair. I always have a new pair ready so whenever my old ones wear out I am ready. Love these boots!
