I’ve got flat feet and usually have to stick with shoes that have a firm sole. I’ve wanted a pair of these for about 10 yrs and always held off because of the cost. After finally breaking down and buying a pair, I wish I had bought them back then. I lost 10 yrs of comfort! They are a little heavy, but they are far and away the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. They completely support my feet and at the end of the day, I don’t even want to take them off. I don’t use a cushion insole, just the plastic airthotic that came with it. I was skeptical at first, but not now. I love them so much that I bought a brown pair as well. I wear a 14 D in most shoes, but the 13E fits perfect in these.

I got these boots b/c I needed something for snow and mush that I could get away with wearing with a suit (lawyer in upstate NY). They are great in that capacity, but there is definitely a break in period that comes with them and the tongue on the boot can be a hot spot. I used a stretcher on them and its all set, but they are not perfect out of the box. Also, I wear a 14 in everything else from Danner (6 other pairs of footwear), but I was swimming in the 14 and had to go down to the 13.

They fit my wide feet perfectly. The quality is great. However, the gigantic insole that comes with them was immediately replaced with a thin insole. Also the provided insole squeaks a lot.

This is my second pair of Mountain Light II. They are by far my favorite boots. My older pair are now 5 years old and still look and function great. I use them daily for Park City winters. My new pair was order as a dress pair. I love this product.

Haven’t had much of a chance to wear them yet. I’ve been searching for a pair of boots that will last a couple years vs a single year of operations in high desert areas. Most tactical footwear for desert environments do not take cacti and agave needle strikes to the tongue area of the boot. These seem to offer decent protection with a leather flap incorporated over a thinner leather tongue. We’ll see if spending more money = better quality boots or not as I put them to the test this year.

I’ve bought 6 pairs of the mountain 600. They are my favorite boot ever. It’s very hard to find mountain 600 size 12 ee and this time I decided to try these.
These are stiff very hard on the back of the upper ankle. The sole is super stiff with the hard shank, makes them harder to just walk normal. I wear them for short durations to try and break them in. Great quality boot for sure, I can see the extra craftsmanship for the price. But wish they were mountain 600 comfort out of the box.
