Working on the Railroad takes a boot with super tough soles, that’s why I prefer vibram lug soles. The track bed ballast eats up soles. If I get a year out of the boots they will be worth the money.

These boots are out of the box comfortable. My first pair of Danner boots and I can say they got a life long customer. The fit is snug but not tight. They look amazing for work boots and I have grip on every surface.

Extremely comfortable with a minimum break in time. I absolutely love these boots!! I’m on my feet most of the day and the last thing I want to worry about are my feet hurting. The Danner Vicious boots are by far the best!! The only thing I’d have to say “bad” about the boots are replacement laces are not available on the website. In the grand scheme of things, that’s an extremely minor detail. Thank you.

These boots are very comfortable and are nearly perfect. I rated them four stars because they are warmer than I expected and unless it’s reasonably cold my feet sweat in them. (I live in Minnesota, so having warm boots is not a bad thing!). Otherwise they are everything I want in a boot. Comfortable, durable and they lace up nicely and stay tied. I will buy them again, but will have different boots for warm summer days. Love the space for the toes.

Excellent fit, I got these back in August. They don't have a long break-in period, I would also recommend getting the DXTComfort insoles. I haven't had a chance to take them out and test the grip but I can't wait too. I will definitely buy these again.

I work at a fertilizer plant and these boots have served me well. Stomping there way through the wet, muddy, and corrosive environment without a care in the world. I will say they don't stand up to sulfuric acid, but that's on me. I highly recommend the Vicious Boot.
