I am very pleased AND surprised! The quality is surprising. The price is very affordable, and I like them so much I really don't want to use them for work, which is why I bought them in the first place.:) I am a caretaker on a 1,000 acre ranch and have many different jobs to do and these fit the bill very nicely. Since this purchase I have ordered long- sleeved Henley & long-sleeved t-shirts. Have also started looking at button down shirts. Because of the quality and affordability I am determined to continue to use this company for purchasing all my clothing needs that they make available. (I'm actually excited about this) Thank you!

I'm almost 65, and I wish I'd known about Carhartt lightweight overalls about 40 years ago. The regular Carhartt duck overalls are rugged and comfy in cool weather here in Canada, but they can be stifling hot in the heat of summertime. And most of the time, they're actually more rugged than I usually require ... like many people, I just wear them because they're so comfortable, especially so for people like me who are overweight. They're pricey too ... most retail outlets here in Canada charge about $100. And so I was delighted that I took the initiative to do some online research and was excited to discover these 9 oz cotton drill overalls. I ordered two pair for me, and a pair for my buddy. The USPS shipping cost to Canada was wicked, and I was wishing that I (like many Canadians) had a post office box in a small town just across the border, about 60 miles from my home here in Alberta. My opinion? They're great. I expected that there would be considerable shrinkage from the solid but low-tech 100% cotton drill, and there sure was ... even just washing warm and air drying on the clothesline. The legs shrank from cuffed-twice to just-right. I don't know why the buckle on the straps is wider than the straps ... it should be smaller or the straps wider. An easy fix ... And Captain Ron's most brilliant move? Just yesterday I dyed a pair ... using the recommended washing-machine routine with inexpensive powdered dye. I wanted a light OR/Optometry-machine shade of green, so I just used one box of the Tintex #36 Forest Green dye. (To get the full colour, they say to use one box per pound ... which would have been three boxes.) I was also "forced" to use the warm setting for the water (instead of the recommended HOT) because I was concerned that I'd shrink the overalls a bit too much. Right now, they're drying on the clothesline in the sunlight, and look just awesome. I live on a ranch in the mountains about 25 miles north of the Crowsnest Pass, and am quite excited about strolling/profiling down Main Street the next time I'm in town. Next up? Peach!

The best of many good features is the double knee. If you put the kneepads in than you are never without a knee pad. Did I mention "no straps"

I have tried other painter whites and the Carhartt product is better by far. The material is sturdy and comfortable. The double knee feature is nice. I also like the side pockets that allow you to hold multiple knives and small hand tools on either side. Also, the adjustable shoulder clips don't slip when you're working, which has been a pet peev with other products.

Very pleased fit @ comfort, they wash clean and white so easy, its hard to believe. I haven't figured out what good use the slash top pocket is any good for. I would prefer a regular snap or Velcro so cell phone - pen and pad doesn't fall into my water or mud bucket. I wish your company would be the first to offer custom leg lengths.
