Carhartt's Astoria jacket brings technology to a new meaning. Featuring a 100% cotton canvas with a waterproof and breathable membrane, you will stay dry all day wearing this jacket.

  • 10-ounce, 100% cotton canvas
  • Dura-Dry® waterproof breathable membrane
  • 100% polyester waffle-knit lining
  • Fully taped waterproof seams
  • Mock-neck collar
  • Snap-on/ detachable hood with draw cord and hook-and-loop adjustable chin strap
  • Full length front zipper with outer and inner storm flaps
  • Left inside pocket with zipper closure
  • Right inside pocket with elastic-reinforced opening
  • Left-chest pocket with zipper closure, storm flap and media port to inner garment
  • Two lower-front pockets with zipper closures and storm flaps
  • Hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs with angled openings for greater range of motion

My New Favorite Jacket

I bought the Astoria Jacket and Pants for a trip to Mt. Hood in January. With suitable underlayering, they held up to three feet of snow without a hitch. More to the point, this is a versatile jacket that suits Portland's climate to a tee. I'm sure the next time I run out to the coast to visit Astoria, this jacket will live up to its name. I did find the cut a little long in the sleeves at first, but I now find it close to perfect.
