Why Carhartt?

From: Maryland Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
As a commercial electrician, I buy Carhartt because the heavy duck fabric doesn't snag, and rip on the sharp metal I work with all day. let me take a little time to answer some questions I see others think are problems with this jacket. 1) sleeves too long. the sleeves are sized like a motorcycle jacket. they are the right length when your arms are out in front of you working. Not at your side. 2) buttons Vs. zippers. I prefer the buttons because when I need to squat down, I can undo the lower button to prevent the jacket from riding up. the holes are tight, but loosen up with use. and stay fastened. 3) patch pockets. I own two of these jackets. one with hand warmer pockets. For every day wear not on the jobsite. One with the patch pockets for work. the patch pockets are great when working at height. what you put in stays in there without falling out. The only thing I wished Carhartt would change, is to bring the manufacturing back to the US. Please do not stop making this jacket, as it's been my go to for more years than I care to remember. If you do, warn me, I'll order a few more, and store them.

From: Massachsettes Age: 45-54 Gender: Male
It’s been a go to jacket for decades. Truckers , ranchers , farmers , construction workers and even a few politicians wear it . It works as hard as you do . I recommend it .

Hard working coat for hard working people

From: Pittsburgh, PA Age: 25-34 Gender: Male
I’ve had my eye on a chore coat for the past 2 winters and recently I was at my local Carhartt store and they just happened to have one on sale and I got it. I couldn’t be happier to finally have one.

Old Faithful

From: Stanislaus, CA Age: 55-65 Gender: Male
For years this has been my go to Jacket. It is tough, warm and has great pockets. I am hard on clothes but this coat holds up very well! I only replace them when my wife complains about welding burns and tractor grease. I always have one of my men wanting my old one, as the coat is still usable.

Excellent coat!

From: Apache Junction, AZ Age: 55-64 Gender: Male
I have had this exact coat for the last ten year, but it finally wore out through lots of heavy use. I just purchased a new one and figure I'll get ten good years out of this one as well.
