Legs a little long for 18 months but they role up nice and maybe the boy short legs for all thus grandpa knows! They have already saved him a lot of knee skin. Happy that we also but 24 month pants.

These run on the large side, which is great for growing kids. Very durable, will outgrow before wearing them out for sure. Softer than the grown up version, which is nice for little legs, but have the same Carhartt durability.
